4 BRD Shirley family house - 10 mins drive to CBD

Beware - Mice and Flies Positive: The house was warm and beds were comfortable. There was no need for heaters in the bedrooms as the heatpump warmed the whole house. There was also enough off street parking and there were toys for the kids. Negative: When we arrived there were so many flies in the house - we had to go buy some fly spray and were fighting them most of the time we were there. We also sighted a mouse on the kitchen bench one night which was disgusting given we had young kids and babies with us. We had to go buy some mouse traps and was able to catch one yet overnight - yuck! We had to throw away some of our food from the benches and cupboards. There is bound to be more mice so we were happy to leave! Very disappointed given we were in Christchurch for an unveiling and this was the last thing we needed!! So disgusting!!

Positive: Lovely home to stay in, child friendly and it was very quiet at night. The location was great and it had everything we needed. The host was very friendly and responsive.
